adam campak, mama elegik (again!!)

ahad pagi tu aqu prasan ada bintik-bintik kat area perut adam. aqu ingat maybe pasai dok sapu minyak yuyi tu yang naik bintik-bintik kot. dalam petang tu naik ke blakang pulak. isham saspek campak. so trus siap n pegi poliklinik an-nur kat P15. memang dokter konfem campak dan dalam telinga adam merah skit sebab sesema n batuk. again, dokter dengar jantung adam, dia bagitau something wrong pasai jantung adam. tapi adam sangat aktif dia punya la dok lompat-lompat sampai tetanggal seluar dia hehe. dokter cakap masa kecik-kecik ni tak efek sangat la cuma bila besar je ada sikit efek -_-"

then, the next morning, aqu prasan bintik-bintik mula dok naik kat kaki, tangan, mulut and mata aqu. tapi masa tu aqu tak peduli sangat sebab so far aqu tak makan makanan yang mendatangkan elegik kat aqu. tapi bila mai tengahari tu makin banyak lak. so telan la piriton sibijik. penangan piriton tu aqu tido smpai pukui 4 yuuu. dengan adam skali sama hanyut hehe. pkui 4 bangun tengok bintik-bintik tu dah jadi gegata and bawah lidah pon sama naik bengkak. telan lagi sebijik piriton. dalam pkui 6pm isham sampai umah dengan yasmin. isham tengok elegik aqu ni cam makin teruk lak. so lepas magrib tu pi klinik al-syifa kat bangi. dokter bagi prednisolone. lagi kuat la dari piriton. balik umah, dinner, telan prednisolone n sapu calamine lotion. trus bum tido sebab ngantuk. dalam pkui 1am tu aqu terjaga sebab tergaru-garu kat perut. bangun tengok perut aqu, astaga dah macam hape dah perut aqu.

so, trus pi emergency kat hosp putrajaya. pi je trus msuk ER zon semi-kritikal. misi suro baring, doc tanya skit sbanyak, trus injek piriton. dalam pkui 2.30 camtu cam dah kurang suma. jarum kat tangan pon dah cabut. elok nak balik je, gegata naik balik 1 badan. so, doc suro aqu baring dulu kat zon tidak kritikal. doc nak masuk ubat lg doc tak brani sebab yg dia injek piriton tu dh maximum. dalam pkui 4 tu, isham masuk jap bagi adam kat aqu sebab adam nak nyusu. elok je adam dh abih nyusu, aqu trus lembik, bp drop 51/55. misi amik adam bagi kat isham, aqu dorang tolak masuk zon kritikal. masuk drip n 0.5 adrenalin (trus lagu faizal tahir masuk dalam otak aqu) baru ok sket. tiba-tiba rasa nak membuang lak. bila aqu dah rasa ok skit aqu bagitau kat nurse yang aqu nak pi toilet. tak mau aqu berak dalam pampes. serik doh!

dah setel suma, aqu kena admitted kat wad. masa masuk wad tu dalam pkui 5am. pkui 4pm tu aqu dah bole kuar wad sebab bp dah ok and tak demam. dapatla mc sminggu. cuma still ada lagi rash cam kat bawah ni

owh, masa kat ER tu dorang asyek la dok cakap "Anaphylactic Shock".
so, aqu pon gugel sket. credit to ehow.com

Anaphylactic shock is a life-threatening medical condition where a severe allergic reaction can cause respiratory and pulmonary distress, which can eventually lead to death. By knowing how to help someone who is suffering from anaphylactic shock, you may be able to save a life.

Anaphylactic shock is the sudden, whole-body allergic reaction to a substance that causes the airways tighten and may lead to other symptoms. Anaphylactic shock is a life-threatening condition and a medical emergency that may result in cardiac or respiratory arrest if untreated.

Definition
Also known as anaphylaxis, anaphylactic shock occurs when the body releases histamine when it comes in contact with an allergen, causing the airways to become blocked. Usually, the body has encountered the allergen once before, but the body does not develop the allergic reaction to it until the next exposure.
  1. Causes
The most common allergens that cause anaphylactic shock include insect bites and stings; foods such as shellfish, peanuts and dairy products; and drugs, such as penicillin. Less common allergens include latex and general anesthesia.
Signs and Symptoms
Symptoms of anaphylaxis appear immediately after exposure and may include hives, wheezing and difficulty breathing, dizziness, confusion, nausea and vomiting. Signs of anaphylaxis include abnormal heart beat, lowered blood pressure, a fast or weak pulse, bluish tint to the skin or a pale and clammy feeling.
Treatment
Call 911 (kalo mesia 999 ye kawan-kawan) right away when symptoms first appear. If a person carries an EpiPen (epinephrine), inject it in the thigh muscle, so the person's airway opens. Use CPR if necessary. Intravenous antihistamine and beta-agonists may be needed after life-saving measures have been applied.
